Andrea V. Bordoni obtained her degree in Chemistry at the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales from the Buenos Aires University (2004, FCEyN-UBA). In 2010, she obtained her PhD in Organic Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Carla Marino (FCEyN-UBA), in the area of carbohydrate synthesis. Between 2011 and 2013, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Chemistry of Nanomaterial Group at the Gerencia Química (CNEA, National Commission of Atomic Energy) under the direction of Dr Alejandro Wolosiuk. (CNEA). Since 2013, she has been a researcher at INN-CONICET and since 2015 she has been teaching as an Assistant Professor at the Instituto de Técnología Nuclear Dan Beninson-National University of San Martín. She is currently co-supervising two PhD thesis, and an MSc thesis. Her research interests are focused on the synthesis of mesoporous nanoparticles, mesoporous thin films, hybrid materials and surface chemical modification through simple organic chemistry reactions, like click chemistry.
